Look Your Best

Not big on doing reviews so this says something. Throughout my life I hated going to the dentist, mostly due to my lack of confidence in the person handling my teeth. I will say Dr. Dinning is a super nice guy who really knows his stuff and shows that he cares for you and your oral health. Does a proper and clean job for a more than reasonable price for the work he does. He clearly has loads of experience. I would recommend anyone to come in for general/complex cosmetic work, repairs, and especially assessments which are very thorough.

Furthermore, the office is very understanding on the financial side as well. Apart from reasonable pricing, I was able to set up a monthly plan to pay off my bill over time which I am not used to seeing elsewhere.

The accompanying staff match the work ethic and charisma of Dr. Dinning.

After neglecting my teeth for almost a decade I went to see Dr. Dinning yesterday to replace a filling. On the "dental fear" scale of 1 to 10, I was hanging by a thread at an 11 when I walked in. From the first person I spoke to on the phone to my wonderful dental hygienist I slowly started to relax. Dr. Dinning came in and calmly talked me off the ledge even further (ha) and didn't even make fun of me when I cried.  He was fast and gentle and I didn't feel a thing. So grateful for this man!  I might even start going regularly now.

As a lifelong Santa Barbara resident, who has had a variety of local dentists over the years.  Dr. Dinning is by far the best.  Not only does he have a fantastic "bed side" manner that put me at ease, but his office and staff are efficient, knowledgeable and up to date. They give you the information you need without the "guilt trip" you often get from dentists.

As a side note...They took great care of me throughout my pregnancy, advising me on what I could expect from a dental standpoint, as well as how to alter my dental routine to best benefit me during my "condition".

Best Dentist in SB hands down! Dr. Dinning is very professional, has been in the business for a very long time and is excellent! His staff is really nice and very acomadating. He has all of the latest technology and will give you the best advise even if it is less money! I trust going to him and have referred lots of people and they all thank me for this great find! Your teeth are so important so make sure they aare in the right hands. No pun intended ;)
