As a lifelong Santa Barbara resident, who has had a variety of local dentists over the years. Dr. Dinning is by far the best. Not only does he have a fantastic "bed side" manner that put me at ease, but his office and staff are efficient, knowledgeable and up to date. They give you the information you need without the "guilt trip" you often get from dentists.
As a side note...They took great care of me throughout my pregnancy, advising me on what I could expect from a dental standpoint, as well as how to alter my dental routine to best benefit me during my "condition".

Not big on doing reviews so this says something. Throughout my life I hated going to the dentist, mostly due to my lack of confidence in the person handling my teeth. I will say Dr. Dinning is a super nice guy who really knows his stuff and shows that he cares for you and your oral health. Does a proper and clean job for a more than reasonable price for the work he does. He clearly has loads of experience. I would recommend anyone to come in for general/complex cosmetic work, repairs, and especially assessments which are very thorough.
Furthermore, the office is very understanding on the financial side as well. Apart from reasonable pricing, I was able to set up a monthly plan to pay off my bill over time which I am not used to seeing elsewhere.
The accompanying staff match the work ethic and charisma of Dr. Dinning.

Just had a procedure done and I haven't been to the dentist in 25 yrs! Was so perfect and easy and fast! Looks great, can't wait to see him again when I got some cheddar!

I have lived in many different areas and have needed a new dental office every time I move so I feel I am a good judge of dentists. Dr. Dinning is the best DDS EVER!... Staff is friendly and very efficient. AND crazy as it sounds, my appointment actually gets confirmed and is always on time. Thank you for respecting my time and teeth! :)

Best Dentist in SB hands down! Dr. Dinning is very professional, has been in the business for a very long time and is excellent! His staff is really nice and very acomadating. He has all of the latest technology and will give you the best advise even if it is less money! I trust going to him and have referred lots of people and they all thank me for this great find! Your teeth are so important so make sure they aare in the right hands. No pun intended ;)

My wife and I (as well as our 3 sons) have ALWAYS had a positive, caring, and enjoyable experience with the entire staff. Dr. Dinning has certainly achieved a dental practice that demonstrates professionalism at the highest levels possible. Every member of his team treats each person who enters his office as a friend, and it has never felt like you are "just another client". I personally refer everyone I know to Dr. Dinning's office, and everyone who visited his office, has come back and thanked me, that alone speaks volumes of his caring and compassion.

Dr. Dinning has been my dentist since 1989 I fell in love the first time I ever submitted in his chair ! He has taken care of our family ever since !
My daughter broke her tooth on the edge of a pool at the age of 10 years old!!
He was so advanced in his profession and new just when to do an implant and and when to have veneers done!! Her smile today is spectacular and I give all the credit to Dr. Ron Dinning!!
He not only a talented artist in his field of dentistry but an outstanding husband and father!!
Its an honor and a privlage to know him and his beautiful family!!
